Roller Door Specifications

Made from corrugated steel, roller doors offer a combination of strength, style and functionality, taking up very little space and allowing you to drive right up to them before opening. Roller Doors comprise of a ribbed steel curtain that moves vertically in the garage opening and rolls up around a drum, guided by tracks and counterbalanced by springs. They are particularly suitable for sheds and garages where there is plenty of headroom above the opening and where a traditional look is required. Just a few of the best safety and operational features are listed below:
  • The door has steel door stops rather than plastic that some other brands use, as well as locking bar end covers to prevent injuries
  • We use Nylofelt® running strips to provide smooth, greaseless operation
  • The guide stops are rubber coated to prevent metal on metal contact
  • We also use a guide block and roller to produce a smoother, quieter operation
  • We use springs designed to exceed the Australian Standard for garage doors
  • The Squareline Deluxe and Squareline Wideline pressed square-line panels reduce the deflection in the door curtain and the visible effect of seaming joints
  • The Squareline Deluxe Roller Doors have Roll-A-Guides and mini groove top sheet to help reduce chances of paint scuffing during door operation
  • We can install a soft, pliable bottom weather seal to help stop leaves and rain coming in under the door
